The Chamber Orchestra is designed for students who have developed skills beyond those outlined and described in the CCSD Chamber High School String curriculum. It includes further development of those skills necessary to become independent musicians. The course emphasizes professional performance standards and college readiness for string musicians. The importance of sustained group and individual effort is stressed. A progression of advanced technical proficiency is expected. Emphasis will be placed on having a variety of performing experiences.
